MegaSearch tool EDS
Use EDS to search all physical and electronic items available across the University's libraries and even more.
How do I find a document using EDS ?
MegaSearch uses keywords and combines the Library catalogue with most of the Library databases and online journals.
This means that you can find books, ebooks, DVDs, and journal articles with one simple search tool.
Quick Search Guide
- Use the "Recherche avancée" menu to choose whether to search by Keyword, Title, or Author.
- Type in your search terms (see the Search Tips tab for advice on constructing a search strategy)
- Click Go
Use the options in the Refine Your Search "Precisez la recherche" panel on the left to improve the relevance of your results.
- Full Text Online
- To find items with full text online
- Catalogue: Books, DVD's & Printed Journal Titles

Limits your search results to items that are indexed in the Library catalogue (i.e. only books and journal titles, not journal articles)
- Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals

Limits your search results to articles from peer-reviewed journals. Peer-reviewed journals are publications that include only those articles that have been reviewed and/or qualified by a selected panel of acknowledged experts in the field of study covered by the journal.
- Open Access

Open Access (OA) enables free, online access to full-text information.
- Publication Date

Change the dates or move the slider bar to limit the date range for your search results.
- Source Types

Allows you to limit your results to books, ebooks, academic journals, and other formats.
- Library Location

Allows you to limit to material that is available on the Library shelves in your location.
- Subject

Allows you to limit to results that have the same subject headings.
- Content Provider

Allows you to limit your results to specific databases.
- Language

Allows you to limit your results by language.
