The university library offers several training systemes for the use of legal databses, as well as the methodology of documentary research in law.
All these training courses are available upon registration.
 

Workshops : 30 min to learn everything about legal research !


University library offers you thematic workshop of 30 minutes to 1 hour to train you on specialized legal databses as well as on the university library's tools (catalog and discovery tool).

Jurisprudence, doctrine, research strategy or university library's catalog, nothing will escape you !

Legal documentay research training


Students of license 2, license 3, master 2,  become more efficient in your research with documentary research training.
 

LICENSE 2

The essentials for your studies.

These trainings (2 hours) offer you to discover and to make the best use of the documentary resources essential to the success of your studies to identify and research :
 

 
  • Books and legal review via the use of the thematic guide, the library catalog and the Summon discovery tool.
  • Legal documentary by legal sources (legislation ; case law ; doctrine) are available on the main legal database (Dalloz ; Lexis 360 ; Lextenso ; Doctrinal)
At the end of these training sessions, you will be offered a multiple choice questionnaire to validate your new knowledge. It will allow you to obtain bonus points as part of the optional minor.
 
Inscriptions

  • Inscription method : inscriptions are made directly with the L2 educational secretariat.
  • Where ? Trainings take place in the Cerclades library (3rd floor -  training room)

LICENSE 3

Search better to save time in your study and research work.

These trainings (2 hours per session) will allow you to make the best use of the documentary resources essential to the success of your studies to identify and search :
 

  • Books and legal review via the use of the thematic guide, the library catalog and the Summon discovery tool.
  • Legal databases : (Dalloz ; Lexis 360 ; Lextenso ; Doctrinal, Lamyline... ) and multidisciplinary presentation of legal encyclopdias bibliographic standardization and information monitoring in law.
 
At the end of these training sessions, you will be offered a multiple choise questionnaire to validate your new knowledge. It will allow you to obtain bonus points as part of the optional minor.

University library offers you documentary research assistance sessions to optimize your sutdy and research work.
 
These trainings (2 hours per session) will allow you to make the best use of the documentary resources essential to the success of your studies to identify and search.
 

They revolve around : 
 

  • Legal research by legal sources and document types. 
  • Thematic research on legal and multidisciplinary. 
  • Legal news monitoring..

For teachers

The university library can offer your students training in legal documentary research.

These trainings (2 hours without evakuation) are organized around documentary research by legal sources, thematic research, on legal and multidisciplinary databases.
