As part of the Journées des Arts et de la Culture dans l'Enseignement Supérieur (JACES) (Arts and Culture Days in Higher Education), the BU des Cerclades is offering its students two manga-related events:

  • Through the power of manga exhibition : 
On loan from the Bibliothèque Départementale du Val d'Ois, which will be installed in the ground floor of Cerclades from 26 March to 24 April 2025. It will cover manga culture, offering an itinerary with reading tips to help you understand and learn about manga and the culture that surrounds it.
 
  • A Mangaka workshop with the ‘Les P'tits Mangakas’ association : 
10 April 2025 from 2pm to 4.30pm at the BU des Cerclades. Il will enable students to explore the world of manga while learning how to create their own character. The workshop is open to everyone, beginners and advanced alike, who wants to discover or deepen their passion for manga. Materials (drawing sheets, pencils, erasers, reference models) are provided, but you can also bring your own. The workshop is reserved for a maximum of 12 participants and requires registration, which you can find on the registration page here.
