Collections and public

The Saint-Germain-en-Laye university library is specialized in education and political sciences. The collections offer around 30,000 documents in all media.
The library is primarly open to students in political and education sciences, to students and staff of the University, as well as to students in another higher education institution, but also to external visitors with valid annual registration fee.

Opening hours

Due to work for the Learning center, the Saint-Germain-en-Laye library will be completely closed from the 3rd of May 2021.
The reopening is scheduled for September 2021 in building D.
You can use the book return box, available outside the library.

Collections in education sciences

The library offers collections for the preparation of the competitive exams for school teachers (CRPE) and also documents on class conduct (textbooks, children's literature, briefcases or multimedia) from kindergarten to cycle 3.
Among the education sciences collection, you will find books on environmental education (adapted pedagogy, social sciences, cognitive sciences) as well as on special educational needs.
Finally, the education heritage collection comes  from former teacher training colleges.
