Missions

  • Reception, orientation, bibliographic assistance, and information about the services offered by the University Library
  • Checking out and returning materials, and registering users
  • Shelf arrangement and reclassification of materials
  • Enforcement of library regulations and building security measures

Duration :
On average: 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, plus one Saturday per month from September 2026 to June 2027. The schedule will be arranged based on the student’s class schedule and the department’s needs. Work hours: shifts between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. on weekdays (rotating shifts for the 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. opening period) and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays. Work is required during university breaks.

Required profile

These positions are open to students at CY Cergy Paris Université who are enrolled in their second year or higher for the 2026–2027 academic year.

 

  • Punctuality, a sense of responsibility, attention to detail, responsiveness, and availability in the evenings, on Saturdays, and during university breaks
  • Interpersonal skills, impartiality, courtesy, and the ability to communicate and listen effectively
  • Ability to work as part of a team with all library staff
