New training sections update
More about CY libraries' trainings :
Our trainings aim at training and improving all of our users information skills. Information skills are the skills linked to searching and using information in order to answer a need or a question, For example, one of the goals is to be able to notice relevant information, analyse the results, use the information in order to refer to it in a suitable way.
Our training service is based on the RECIF (référentiel de compétences informationnelles) created by the ADBU (association française des directeurs et personnels de direction des bibliothèques universitaires et de la documentation). This service may propose new trainings on larger themes (AI, fake news, ecologic transition and reduced consumption) or specific tools (Zotero, data bases...).
Our trainings are offered to every type of audience: bachelor degree students, masters students, PhD students or administrators; professors, high-schoolers or people outside higher education stystem. The trainers are librarians, present in every Cy Library. They train according to the professors' needs or from ready-to teach sessions.
Our users can be trained during in person sessions or during online sessions. You can also make an appointment with a librarian.
