Heritage Days in your CY libraries

Cerclades university library welcomes you for the Heritages days 2026. This event also callled Journées du patrimoine, will be held on 19th September 2026. 

This is a mainstream event, the library will be open for everyone from 10:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. The library remains open to the students on the usual schedule (9 A.M to 7:PM)


Here is the schedule of the event :  
  • Guided tours, in which you will discover the backstage of the Cerclades library. Click on that link in order to register and choose your slot (8 people maximim per slot).  
  • Exhibition of the heritage collections of Cergy university library  : 
    • Ecole Normale d'institutrices de Saint-Germain-en-Laye collection. Cergy university library holds many documents used to train the future teachers (mostly under the 3rd French Republic).
    • Gabriel Suter's archives. Gabriel Suter is a French geologist, author of the first geologic maps of the Marocan Rif. The exhibition displays his tools, his firsts drafts, some photographs and the completed maps. 
  • Come and explore the exhibition "Excavations at Genainville" organised by AEVA of CY association from 17 to 28 September, accompanied by a themed table on archeology.
